Kiwanis

The Kiwanis Club of Ridgetown was chartered in 1947 and has grown to become the epitome of all that is Kiwanis. Through the years, the club has had a huge impact on the Ridgetown community, spearheading the swimming pool and tennis court campaigns, sponsoring 4-H, organizing the Santa Claus Parade, the Teddy Bear Picnic and the Easter Egg Hunt, financial support to the Howard Mutual Medical Centre, the Ridgetown Adult Activity Centre, as well as supporting the needs of countless local children.

Due to COVID 19 restrictions our in person meetings are on hold.

We are meeting weekly on Zoom.

If you are interested in joining our meeting, please contact us for the Zoom link.

Once we are able to resume in person meetings:

The Kiwanis Club of Ridgetown meets every Thursday night (September - June) at 6:30 pm at Mr. Zion Presbyterian Church.

Our dinner meetings feature brief business proceedings and a programme on topics varying from local to provincial issues, new ideas, or entertainment. The main ingredient of each meeting is fun!

Meetings in July and August have a more relaxed format usually at the home of members.

Through Kiwanis membership, communities are developed, friendships are built and leadership skills are developed.
