An Alaris Pump accurately delivers fluids, medications, blood or blood product to sick or critically injured pediatric patients on a continuous or intermittent basis. The pump utilizes specialized software so that health care professionals can set safety limits on the machine ensuring that correct dosages are selected thereby preventing medication errors on up to four separate intravenous infusions. The hospital currently needs 39 more pumps.
